Archiving Policy

The Scholarship of Research (SOR) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of its published scholarly content. The Journal uses recognized digital preservation systems to help ensure that published articles remain permanently available to the international research community.

All published content is preserved through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a digital preservation service developed by the Public Knowledge Project for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS). PKP PN provides secure and distributed archiving designed to support the long-term preservation and continued accessibility of scholarly content.

The Journal also supports distributed digital preservation through the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system, which enables participating libraries and preservation networks to maintain multiple copies of published content and thereby reduce the risk of permanent loss.

As part of the Journal's open-access policy, published articles are freely accessible online immediately upon publication. Authors may deposit and share all versions of their manuscript, including the submitted manuscript, accepted manuscript, and published Version of Record, in institutional, disciplinary, or general-purpose repositories without embargo.

Authors retain the right to share, distribute, and reuse their work in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits use, distribution, adaptation, and reproduction in any medium, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source.
