Copyright Notice

By submitting a manuscript to The Scholarship of Research (SOR), authors acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

Authors retain copyright in their work and do not transfer copyright to the Journal or Publisher.

Upon acceptance and publication, authors grant iEditore a non-exclusive right of first publication and a non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, preserve, archive, communicate, and make the article available as part of The Scholarship of Research.

Unless otherwise clearly indicated, the published Version of Record is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0).

This licence permits readers and other third parties to copy, share, distribute, reproduce, adapt, remix, translate, and reuse the published article in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors and the original publication, a link to the licence is provided, and any modifications or adaptations are clearly indicated.

Authors may share, deposit, reproduce, distribute, adapt, translate, and otherwise reuse their own original work without requesting permission from the Journal or Publisher. The CC BY 4.0 licence governs reuse by readers and other third parties and does not restrict the authors’ exercise of the copyright they retain.

Authors retain their moral rights to the extent recognised by applicable law, including the right to be identified as the authors of the work. Reuse of the article must not imply endorsement by the authors, Editors, Journal, or Publisher.

Authors warrant that the submitted manuscript is original, has not been formally published in another journal, and is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal. Previous dissemination as a preprint, repository deposit, conference abstract or presentation, thesis, dissertation, registered protocol, or other form permitted under the Journal’s policies does not constitute prior formal publication, provided that such dissemination is fully disclosed at submission.

All listed authors must meet the Journal’s authorship criteria, have approved the submitted version of the manuscript, agreed to its submission to The Scholarship of Research, and accepted responsibility for the integrity of their contribution. The manuscript must comply with the Journal’s editorial, ethical, research-integrity, authorship, artificial intelligence, and disclosure policies.

Where the article includes third-party material, including images, figures, tables, instruments, questionnaires, scales, datasets, software components, code, conceptual models, or other protected material, authors are responsible for identifying applicable rights, obtaining any necessary permissions, and providing appropriate attribution.

Material that is not covered by the article’s Creative Commons licence must be clearly identified in the relevant credit line, figure legend, table note, repository record, or accompanying statement.

The CC BY 4.0 licence applied to the article does not automatically determine the licence applicable to associated datasets, source code, software, algorithms, databases, or other research objects. Authors must clearly identify any separate licence, access condition, or reuse restriction applying to such materials.
