Abstract
The concept of holistic patient care based on the definition of health by the World Health Organization (WHO) involves not only comprehensive medical care, but also psychological and social support. In principle architects of the idea of holistic medicine such approach is mainly translate into improving therapeutic results; in the case of chronic diseases, including asthma, holistic care purposes; however, should also include the involvement of patients in their treatment. The aim of this study was to discuss some psychological variables affecting the quality of life of patients with bronchial asthma.References
