Publisher Responsibilities

iEditore is responsible for the journal’s publishing infrastructure and operational management, including:

  • management and maintenance of the publishing platform;
  • editorial-office and production support;
  • copyediting, typesetting, proofreading, and publication workflows;
  • DOI registration and bibliographic metadata management;
  • digital dissemination and preservation arrangements;
  • legal, administrative, contractual, and financial management;
  • management of advertising, sponsorship, printing, and publishing-service agreements.

The Publisher supports the journal’s editorial activities while respecting the independence and authority of the Editor-in-Chief and the journal’s editorial structure.

Editorial Independence

The Editor-in-Chief retains authority over the scientific and editorial content of IJWR, including reviewer selection, peer review, manuscript evaluation, acceptance and rejection decisions, and post-publication editorial actions.

The Publisher, advertisers, sponsors, institutional partners, commercial organizations, and other external parties do not influence:

  • the selection of manuscripts;
  • the appointment of reviewers;
  • the content or conclusions of peer-review reports;
  • editorial decisions;
  • the interpretation or presentation of scientific findings;
  • corrections, Expressions of Concern, retractions, or other post-publication actions.

Where an editor has authored or co-authored a submission, or has another relevant conflict of interest, the manuscript is assigned to an independent editor who has no involvement in the work or relationship with the authors.

Where a complaint concerns the Editor-in-Chief, the Publisher may appoint an independent senior editor or external expert to assess the matter.

The Publisher does not determine the scientific merits of manuscripts or override editorial decisions for commercial, financial, institutional, personal, or reputational reasons.

Open Access and Publication Fees

IJWR operates as a diamond open-access journal and does not charge authors submission fees, article processing charges, publication fees, page charges, colour figure charges, supplementary material fees, or other mandatory publication costs.

Readers are not required to pay subscription, registration, pay-per-view, or access fees.

Authors retain copyright and publishing rights in their work. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence.

Business Practices

The journal may receive support from the Publisher, institutional collaborations, scientific partnerships, sponsorship, printing activities, publishing services, and clearly identified advertising.

Revenue sources and commercial arrangements do not influence editorial policies, peer review, reviewer selection, manuscript evaluation, acceptance, rejection, or publication decisions.

Advertising and sponsored content are governed by the journal’s Advertising Policy.

Special Issues, supplements, conference publications, and externally supported collections are governed by the journal’s Special Issues, Supplements, and Conference Content Policy.
