Special Issue: Life After Burn

International Journal of Wound Research (IJWR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal dedicated to wound prevention, assessment, treatment, management, and healing. The journal publishes clinical, scientific, educational, methodological, and organizational contributions concerning acute and chronic wounds, tissue viability, skin integrity, and related conditions. Research articles and other scholarly submissions designated as peer reviewed undergo independent external review, while other content follows the editorial process appropriate to its article type.

Guest Editor: Kristina Stiles, University of Birmingham, United Kingdom

All scholarly contributions designated as peer reviewed underwent the journal’s standard double-anonymous external peer-review process. Submissions authored or co-authored by the Guest Editor or members of the editorial structure were handled by an independent editor with no involvement in the work. Final editorial authority remained with the Editor-in-Chief.
